Velkommen til månedlig norsk gudstjeneste i Washington, D.C.!
Gudstjenestene holdes av en av prestene fra Sjømannskirken i New York. Det er søndagsskole hver måned. Gudstjenestene organiseres i samarbeid mellom Sjømannskirken og kirkekomiteen i D.C. I tilknytning til gudstjenestene er det kirkekaffe med salg av norske matvarer og sjokolade.
PS: Vi trenger frivillige til å hjelpe til med kirkekaffen.
Hvor: Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 7730 Bradley Blvd (krysset mellom Seven Locks Rd. og Bradley Blvd) i Bethesda, MD.
Når: Klokken 15.00 hver 2. søndag i måneden fra september til og med juni.
The Norwegian Church Service in Washington, D.C. welcomes you to worship at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, where Services in Norwegian are held on the 2nd Sunday of the month. Sunday School, in Norwegian, is offered for the children. The services may include baptism, confirmation, and other functions of the ministry. After services, we sponsor an enjoyable coffee and fellowship hour. Our work is made possible through the mutually supportive work of the Norwegian Seamen’s Church in New York and the Congregation in the metropolitan Washington, D.C. area.
PS: Volunteer help with “kirkekaffe” (preparation, clean-up and cookie/cake contributions) is much appreciated.
Where: Emanuel Lutheran Church, 7730 Bradley Blvd (at Seven Locks Rd), Bethesda, MD. Ample parking is available.
When: The 2nd Sunday of each month at 3 pm (no service in July and August)
